Heavy hitting rock legends, Night Ranger recently released a live album titled 40 Years and a Night with Contemporary Youth Orchestra, available on CD/DVD, Vinyl, Blu-ray, and all major streaming platforms. Jason Farris Brown known professionally as Colt Ford, is an American country rap musician, songwriter, entrepreneur, and former professional golfer. He is also the co-founder of record label Average Joes Entertainment.

Giovannie and the Hired Guns is an American country rock band from Stephenville, Texas. The band was formed in 2017 by Giovannie Yanez, who serves as the lead vocalist and songwriter. The other members of the band include Carlos Villa, Jerrod Flusche, Alex Trejo, and Milton Toles.

an American country rock band from Stillwater, Oklahoma

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid-’80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll—the same roots that produced bands like The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith.

The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.”

1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song.” Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status.

In 1990, TESLA helped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.”

Other 90s albums from TESLA include platinum-selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material, including nine new albums since 2000, and recently debuted their new single, “Time To Rock!”

TESLA has endured many of the same taste-changing challenges that affected many in the post-grunge world, but through it all, their blue-collar work ethic and dedication to their faithful fan base have helped them not just survive, but thrive. Born and raised in the Bama clay, these boys are as southern as they come. Taught how to bend a string and break a heart by Skynyrd and Hank, brothers James and Frank Ford along with their hometown friends Andrew Davis and Ben Crain formed the southern rock band known as Them Dirty Roses. The Lowdown Drifters are an American country rock band based in Fort Worth, Texas. The band was originally formed in the Pacific Northwest in 2015 by singer-songwriters Big John Cannon and Ryan Klein.

The band’s style has been described as “a Texas-based band blending country, rock, and Americana” or “a rock band with a fiddle problem”

Gretchen Wilson took the country music world by storm when she released her #1 hit song “Redneck Woman” in 2005. She immediately landed an opening slot with Brooks & Dunn and would go on to tour with Kenny Chesney the following year.

Since the days of being an opening act, Wilson has been fortunate enough to have been able to host artists like Trace Atkins and Van Zandt on her own headlining shows. 2012 was a prolific year for Gretchen as she would embark on one of the year’s hottest tour packages: “The Outlaw Tour with ZZ Top and 3 Doors Down.”

In 2014 Gretchen took some time off to be a full-time mom to her daughter but returned several years later with an album and a tour that picked up right where she left off. Her live shows are a trip back to the old days featuring familiar titles and a band that rocks as hard as the Redneck Woman does.

Gretchen will be featuring the next “redneck woman” on her label during her shows this summer. Jessie G has recently signed with Gretchen’s label Redneck Records, and will be giving fans a preview of what they are working on.

Texas Hippie Coalition is an American heavy metal band from Denison, Texas.
